Behind the Creation
The Goddess is a paper cut out silhouette animation, focusing on creation mythology, nature, and mankind.
The style is inspired by the works of Lotte Reiniger, a pioneer of pre-Disney animation, as well as art deco and geometric elements.
I worked with a professional carpenter to custom build a multi-plane shooting station to shoot various actions at once. I also collaborated with Simon Ton of Berklee College of Music to compose the original score.
